What is a DIFC Will?
A DIFC Will is a Will that is prepared for individuals who either reside or have assets in the United Arab Emirates. DIFC Wills cover:
(1) assets that are situated in in the United Arab Emirates; and
(2) appoint guardians for those minor children (below 21 years) who are habitually residing with the testator in Dubai/Ras Al Khaimah.
DIFC Wills are prepared by our Wills draftsman duly registered with the DIFC Courts Wills Service (DIFC CWS)and are signed and registered at the offices of DIFC CWS. The presence of testator at the offices at the DIFC Courts Wills Service is mandatory for signing and registration. Once the DIFC Will is signed and registered with the DIFC Courts Wills Service, it becomes legally binding.
