Making Specific Gifts in UAE Wills
If you wish to give any specific part of your assets (such as jewellery, watch, vehicle, musical instruments, cash etc.) to someone other than your beneficiaries, you may do so in your UAE Will by specifying the details of such asset and the details of the person who you wish to pass on the asset.
Specific gifts can also be made to a beneficiary in the Will in a situation where you do not want your entire estate to be distributed to the same beneficiary who you wish to acquire your specific asset as a gift. For example, you may want to give your watch to your son but you want your wife and children to inherit your entire UAE assets in equal shares in your UAE Will. This is possible through a clearly drafted gifts clause in your UAE Will.
